Laporta is a painter of an admirable simplicity and at the same time of an unusual force. Also a great number of animals participate in this singular vision (monkeys, wolves, crows, snakes) that they find welcome in its paintings of a suggestive peculiarity of the walls of Pompei. The bull and the donkey of the Hispanic culture are represented in his heart-rendering vision. Due to his knowledge of classics, his pictures are also contributor of the baroque world of the saints. Moved away from the avant-garde and the present pictorial style, it creates its own painting, of great beauty and sharp of resistances in the colours. Outside from the artistic circuits by own request, he is a singular artist and isolated of recognition. He paints by vital necessity. Admired by Marco Zanusso (Recognized Italian designer)
