Laporta is a painter of an admirable simplicity and at the same time of an unusual force. Also a great number of animals participate in this singular vision (monkeys, wolves, crows, snakes) that they find welcome in its paintings of a suggestive peculiarity of the walls of Pompei. The bull and the donkey of the Hispanic culture are represented in his heart-rendering vision. Due to his knowledge of classics, his pictures are also contributor of the baroque world of the saints. Moved away from the avant-garde and the present pictorial style, it creates its own painting, of great beauty and sharp of resistances in the colours.
